An educational workshop to discover the archaeological heritage of Porto Torres. The initiative was created by the Historical Memory Cooperative, which organizes visits to the city's various archaeological sites and monuments.
Museum educators and tour guides are finalizing preparations and preparing teaching materials to accompany participants in an engaging experience of a simulated archaeological excavation in a prehistoric setting, inspired by and directly linked to the archaeological area of Su Crucifissu Mannu, to which they have dedicated years of attention, study, and constant commitment to its valorization.
The profession of archaeologist, set against the backdrop of the Domus de Janas of Su Crucifissu, is just one of the experiences offered in the educational services, along with thematic workshops, narrative activities, archaeoastronomy courses, and guided tours of cultural sites. Each workshop—active and participatory teaching, learning, storytelling, and the scientific method, promoting teamwork—as well as each guided tour, is designed to make cultural heritage accessible, engaging, and meaningful, helping everyone understand the sites, ask questions, and feel part of a larger story.
