Around twenty flights were canceled to and from Sardinian airports due to the strike called by trade unions in the public and private sectors.

At Cagliari airport, six arriving flights were canceled (two from Milan Malpensa, Pisa, Barcelona, Verona and Venice) and five departing flights (two from Milan Malpensa, Pisa, Barcelona and Verona). At Olbia airport, however, five arriving flights were canceled and the same number departing: destination Turin, Rome Fiumicino, Lille, Strasbourg and Lyon.

All passengers had been notified in time by their respective companies and there were no inconveniences at the airports. Very few people joined the strike in the school sector while the guarantee bands in rail transport and local public transport were observed.
