«We must not be prisoners of the role we play, we must be free to be able to face our role due to the fact that we can leave it at any time, this makes us more effective as administrators and makes us better as legislators». This is how Stefano Tunis , regional councilor of Sardinia at Centro 20/20, explains his resignation from office, handed over to the Prime Minister Michele Pais.

«Our civic project began many years ago by building a network of local administrators which today has more than 60 mayors - he explained in a press conference -. We have never flattened ourselves in the armchair."

Alongside Antonello Peru, the other leader of Sardinia at the 20/20 Centre, councilor Anita Pili and Dino Cocco , from Quartise, the first of the non-elected, who will take over from Tunis.

"Our movement truly shares the system of participation - he reiterated - and today I am doing this which is seen as sensational, because no one has ever done it before, but which is in line with our way of being".

There are no preclusions regarding the future: "I'm going back to my job as a company manager, I will certainly take care of the political movement we are building and we'll see if I take part in the next elections." «Starting from what we have done in recent months and what we are doing weekly in our meetings - concluded the now former councilor -, we will soon expose programmatic lines that are strongly identity-based, strongly autonomist and strongly focused on putting belonging first."
