From Greece to Pesaro, without passing through Sassari, or at least only passing through to pack his bags. Playmaker Stefano Trucchetti confirmed on social media that he's signed a Serie A2 contract with the historic Marche club.

And to think that on Sunday the talented point guard born in 2006 won the European championship with the Under 20 national team, the first Sardinian men's basketball player to win a continental competition for national teams.

Stefano Trucchetti actually had one more year left on his contract with Dinamo, but it was evidently not part of the club's plans, and an agreement was reached for his release. Last season, Markovic and Bulleri only used him in seven games, and only against Trento did he get significant use: 19 minutes and 7 points. He played more in the Europe Cup, averaging 10 minutes in six games and 3 points per game.

Perhaps it would have been better to do the opposite: loan him out last season to see if he could then be ready to play in the top flight, if not as a substitute playmaker, at least as a tenth-choice player.
