Go to the final phase of the Start Cup Sardinia 2022 . The appointment is for tomorrow morning in Sassari, with an event that will be opened by the greetings of the Rector of the Turritana University, Gavino Mariotti.

The Start Cup, an initiative at the 15th edition, is a competition for innovative business ideas , organized by the universities of Sassari and Cagliari , in collaboration with the INNOIS Project, INNOvazione e Idee per la Sardegna and the Fondazione di Sardegna, with contributions from Banco di Sardegna , Verde Vita, Abinsula, Sardinia Research.

The aim is to stimulate , thanks to public-private partnership initiatives, the enhancement of research and the birth and development of companies with high innovative potential and growth in the regional territory.

The new edition opened in June with the selection of the 10 best ideas, a path that then continued with an intensive course of coaching and development of the business idea up to the drafting of the Business Plan.

FINALIST IDEAS - Among the finalist ideas Easycura , an App that facilitates the meeting between supply and demand for health and parasanitary assistance, and then Hease Life , a solution designed for nursing homes and the like to ensure greater control over the health of their guests. And again I-Chicken , a technological device for the breeding of laying hens with Free Range system; Lapper , a GPS-based stopwatch created for sports and activities where you cannot be distracted by a device; Maponos Music , digital didactic support for the study of the orchestral repertoire; My Day Pass , a marketplace for external customers to book hotel and resort services; Riv4U , a microbicidal, economical and eco-sustainable coating for surfaces that limits the indirect transmission of pathogens; TrustFact , a technological innovation that allows fake news to be detected and debunked before they spread; Vitigna , a new superfood based on the residues of wine processing and capable of reducing gastrointestinal disorders; Worldy , a generalist and horizontal information community dedicated mainly to an audience under 30.

THE PRIZES - € 18,000 up for grabs for the winners : € 5,000 for the first classified, € 3,000 for the second, € 2,000 for the first, the subscription to the Unione Sarda for team members and the coverage of expenses (fees, travel , room and board) for participation in the National Innovation Award.

During the previous editions of the Start Cup, 350 business ideas were collected for a total of 1530 participants, 132 business plans presented, over 230 thousand euros in prizes paid up to 2021. Thirty companies were able to be born thanks to the initiative.
