Stackhouse, a Cagliari-based software house and part of the Spindox group, announces the launch of the new edition of Stackademy, the training and placement program dedicated to young graduates and recent computer science graduates.
The initiative will be officially presented during the Computer Science Community Day, scheduled for Friday, October 10th at 5:00 PM in the Physics and Mathematics Aula Magne at the University of Cagliari. The event, sponsored by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and the Computer Science Degree Program, represents a meeting point for students, faculty, and companies in the technology and digital sectors.
Stackademy is an intensive training program that aims to transform academic training into practical skills that are immediately applicable to the job market. Unlike external courses or purely theoretical initiatives, Stackademy is designed as a direct bridge to hiring: selected students will be trained in the latest technologies and, upon completion, placed in Stackhouse's projects and development teams.
"We strongly believe in the value of young talent and in the synergy with the local community," says Filippo Candio, CEO of Stackhouse. "With Stackademy, we want to offer young people a concrete opportunity for professional growth, while also strengthening our commitment to creating a competitive technology hub in Cagliari, connected to the major challenges of digital innovation."
Participation in Informatica's Community Day is part of this strategy of collaboration with academia and the new generation of developers. During the event, Stackhouse will have the opportunity to meet students, share experiences, and discuss the career paths the company offers.
The Stackademy will launch in the coming weeks at Stackhouse's Cagliari office. Candidates are already being recruited: Computer Science graduates and undergraduates interested in pursuing a career in software development can submit their applications to hr@stackhouse.it or via LinkedIn.
With over 60 developers and extensive experience in developing web and mobile applications, Stackhouse continues to invest in human capital growth as a strategic lever to compete in national and international markets. The new Stackademy represents a key element of this vision: training the professionals of the future in-house, leveraging local talent and fostering dialogue between universities and businesses.
