The first autumn edition of “ Spring in the garden ” is underway, an event that on the weekend of 15 and 16 October brings together in Donigala Fenughedu , in the Oristano area, all lovers of plants, flowers and more.

The exhibition, in its twentieth edition, this year found a welcome in the company and restaurant Ros'e mari farm and greenhouse , a suggestive and enchanting place recreated in an abandoned nursery for more than twenty years.
On display over 30 nurseries specialized in Mediterranean shrubs , collections of citrus fruits, bougainvilleas, roses and oleanders, as well as aromatic plants, herbaceous perennials, fruit trees, bonsai, orchids, tillandsias.

Ready to fascinate Kaktos , an “exhibition within an exhibition” which for years has been an interesting meeting place for Sardinian cactophiles.

Provocative theme of the year is "A snake in the garden ... how could we live together?" , also the leitmotif of the international symposium scheduled for Saturday 15 October and in which the Greek landscape architect Thomas Doxiadis, who in Athens is at the head of a prestigious and avant-garde design studio in the field, has agreed to participate, via video link. On Sunday morning, always in the conference room, an in-depth study on the possibility of cultivating tropical and subtropical fruits in Sardinia also due to climate change.
