Spring at the Theatre opens with “Dante, Journey to Hell”
The festival organized by the Sassari Company will offer six shows

A theatrical journey through literary classics and contemporary productions. The Teatro Astra in Sassari hosts the “Primavera a Teatro” festival, which, from April to June, will offer six shows thanks to the organization of the Compagnia Teatro Sassari.
The show kicks off on Friday at 9 pm (repeated on Saturday 5th at 9 pm and Sunday 6th at 7 pm) with “Dante, viaggio all'Inferno”. The production by the Sassari company reinterprets Dante's Inferno using the language of the commedia dell'arte, offering an ironic and lively version of the famous journey to the afterlife. The show, directed by Mario Lubino , will feature Mario Lubino and Margherita Frau, Stefano Dionisi, Aldo Milia on stage.
Other events: on April 23 and 24, another production by the Compagnia Teatro Sassari: “La voliera dei canarini ”. On May 16, space for “ Ribelle – Storia di una notte cambiata” , a show dedicated to the memory of Michela Murgia and produced by the Centro Antiviolenza Spazio Donna CAV, PLUS Distretto Sanitario di Ozieri, Inoghe, Compagnia delle Donne and Gurdulù Teatro. On May 22, the Akroama company presents “Il paese del vento” , inspired by the writings of Grazia Deledda.
On June 5th we laugh with “La chiusa del circolo” , a new theatrical production by BoboScianel. Closing on June 12th and 13th with “ Regina Madre” , performed by Compagnia Teatro Sassari.
