Agreement signed between Dazn and Tim for the termination of their exclusive relationship. Now football fans and sports fans will be able to see the content on multiple platforms.

"Tim has been a strategic partner from a technological and distribution point of view since our arrival in Italy and will continue to be so - underlined Stefano Azzi, CEO of Dazn Italia - Today in the world it is estimated that almost half of the fans follow in live streaming a sporting event. We remain focused so that our core business develops in an increasingly structured way. The modification of the agreement between Dazn and Tim goes exactly in this direction: to allow the further expansion of access methods for users and to continue to pursue even further our ambition to offer live and on-demand sports content to an ever-increasing number of fans in a simple, flexible and innovative way ".

The OTT, owner of the Serie A football rights among other things, and Tim have redesigned the distribution agreement for the transmission of sports content, which opens the landing of the Dazn platform on Sky.

"Dazn - added Azzi - is a company open to evaluating all the strategic hypotheses that allow us to become the main sports destination for fans and to increase the business. It is in this perspective that the diversification of the partnerships we are involved in fits in. working and ranging from the manufacturers of connected devices to the platforms that distribute content. Partnerships represent one of the consolidation strategies for the growth of our business ".

From next season Serie A, Serie B, La Liga, Europa League, Conference League, Champions women, Libertadores Cup, Major League Soccer (Mls), Championship (which is English B), UFC and the great boxing matches will therefore be even more accessible.
