Two bronze medals, for Sardinia, at the Italian university speed canoe championships in Sabaudia. Both ended up in the neck of Chiara Pintus, 25 year old athlete of the Circolo Kayak Sardegna Le Saline in Cagliari.

Student of managerial economics, she achieved the third fastest time in the final of the C1 500 and 200 senior women.

The Sardinian representative was made up of four other athletes, always from the Saline and the Ichnusa Rowing Club of Cagliari, who for the occasion all competed as Cus Cagliari. Stefano Cabras, together with Mattia Nonne, signed the fourth place in the K2 500 senior men, stopping at the eighth in the K2 200. Still in the K2 500, but female, seventh position for Francesca Pitzalis and Francesca Cabras.

Among the individual results, Francesca Cabras finished sixth in the K1 500 senior women and fifth in the K1 200 senior, where Francesca Pitzalis came ninth.

In the male field, seventh place for Nonne in the K1 1000 senior male. Finally, in the men's K1 200 senior, Stefano Cabras seventh and Mattia Nonne ninth.
