The creator of Inspector Petra Delicado returns to Sardinia thanks to the Itinerandia Association in collaboration with Libreria Cyrano. Spanish writer Alicia Giménez-Bartlett will close the 12th edition of the Dall'altra Parte del Mare festival.
There are two events on December 1st: in the morning, Alicia Giménez-Bartlett will meet with Spanish language and literature students from Sassari's linguistic high schools at the auditorium of the Convitto Nazionale Canopoleno in Sassari on Via Luna e Sole. In the evening, she will be in Alghero at 7:00 pm at the Alguer Hall to present her collection of short stories (" Una poca di buono. Sei indagini per Petra Delicado ") to the large audience of readers who await her on the Riviera del Corallo.
These are six old-school investigations, perfectly balanced between fun and tension, with the most irresistible couple in the Mediterranean thriller genre: Petra Delicado , a feminist, stubborn, idealistic & hard-boiled school female police inspector from Barcelona; Fermín Garzón , her pot-bellied, sentimental and traditionalist deputy.
