The Stintino Tonnara Museum will once again be a vibrant cultural center in August 2025, with a program that intertwines literature, archaeology, the environment, music, and film, featuring exceptional guests from the worlds of culture and research. On August 27th, Beat Lab, sound laboratories, an interactive workshop led by artist Ricô, specializing in beatmaking and electronic music, will take place. The workshop will begin at 5:30 pm, where participants will be able to explore music production techniques firsthand, discovering how a beat is made, from selecting sounds to building the rhythm, all the way to composing a complete track. A hands-on and fun experience that combines technology and art, designed for enthusiasts and the curious of all ages. Following at 8:30 pm, Ricô will perform a live concert, demonstrating the techniques he has learned in action and conveying his energy and passion for beatmaking. On August 28th, at 9:00 pm, Andrej Longo will present Undici. Eleven women's stories set in Naples and its province, similar to photographs capable of capturing in a single fragment a human and social condition of our times. On the 29th at 8:00 PM, Vittorio Gazale will present the book "In the Interest of the State. Asinara Island between the National Park, the Red Brigades, and the Cosa Nostra," a fascinating yet disturbing narrative of the history of Asinara Island, through the many roles it has played over the decades—from penal colony to theater of political struggle, to symbol of repression and memory. Finally, on August 30th at 9:00 PM, the museum opens its doors to visual art and creativity with Stintino Crea: the inauguration of temporary exhibitions by local artists. The events were organized thanks to the collaboration between the Tonnara Museum, the Municipality of Stintino, the Comes Cooperativa Mediateche Sarde, the Il Labirinto Bookshop – Mondadori Bookstore Alghero Stintino, and the Alumiart Association.
