11 a.m., Saturday, March 14, in Oristano. The agenda: analysis of the regional political situation. Only an "organizational meeting" reveals who will attend. Nothing further has yet been revealed (not even the location) about the meeting convened by Renato Soru, with an invitation sent to those who have long been active members of Progetto Sardegna, as well as to those who left the Democratic Party when, while the alliances for the 2024 elections were being assembled, the decision was made to nominate Alessandra Todde for the presidency of the Region.

The Sardinian coalition that supported the former governor in the (re)conquest of Villa Devoto obtained 8.6%: below the threshold for access to the Regional Council, with over 50 thousand preferences.

Even though they fell short of expectations at the time, the numbers were not negligible. The scenario has changed since then, and it's possible that Soru's recent policy of political silence, with the lack of recent disagreements with the Democrats, may have led some within the Democratic Party to believe a rapprochement might be possible. And perhaps this too will be discussed on Saturday morning: given the ups and downs of Todde's term, it might be useful, on the left and in the center, to start counting themselves. Outside the president's inner circle.
