"We are ready to bring the needs of Sardinia to the attention of the next government". President Christian Solinas said this today at the UIL regional congress in Sardara, who confirmed Maria Francesca Ticca at the helm of the union.

To the executive that will come out of the elections on 25 September, the governor has several requests to make: " More funds from the NRP to the weaker Regions , accelerate the spending of cohesion funds to reduce the gaps between North and South, overcoming precarious work, taxation of extra-profits also to non-energy companies, the reduction of the tax burden for all taxpayers, starting with the lowest wages and pensions ”.

There is also a passage on territorial continuity: “Sardinia is entitled to a single rate that allows us to go to the rest of the world, but also to the rest of the world to come to us. Regarding transport, everything cannot be left to the free market, as the European Union would like ”.

The energy issue: "We have moved from some fixed and accepted points such as methanisation with the creation of a backbone that would give security to the production world, to a series of turns and changes of course generated by the conflict between state companies, between Snam and Enel who had different views of the island's energy development. Today, with the war on their doorstep, someone realizes that over time this country has also renounced its energy autonomy , and we talk about coal and a series of projects set aside with frightening lightness ”.
