Happy birthday to Sofia Vergara . The actress and television producer, originally from Colombia but a naturalized US citizen for years, blew out 53 candles on her birthday cake on July 10th . And for the celebration, she chose a special location: Sardinia .

The star—known for several successful films and TV series, such as “Modern Family” and “Griselda” —decided to combine her vacation on the island with her birthday celebrations, documenting everything on social media for the benefit of her over 35 million followers.
