Sofia Goggia fell, without apparent damage, given that she immediately got up , but with understandable general apprehension given the athlete's background, who competes with a fractured left hand, in the first super-G of the S. Anton cdm.

While with bib number 14 she was marking the best time compared to her partner Federica Brignone, clearly in command, the blue slipped in a left bend not controlling her skiing well.

In the end it was Brignone who obtained success n.21 - thus becoming the most successful Italian ever in the world cup, beating Sofia Goggia - who with a lightning finish dominated the first super-G of St. Anton in 1.00.21. Behind him the Swiss Joana Haehlen in 1.0075 and Lara Gut-Behrami in 1.00.87. Out of Goggia for a spectacular fall that ended without damage but which caused a moment of great apprehension, in the ranking for Italy there are also Marta Bassino 8/a in 1.01.24 and Elena Curtoni 13/a in 1.01.56. Curtoni with 140 points keeps the red bib of leader of the super-G ex aequo with the Norwegian Mowinckel.
