Sinner returns to winning ways: triumph in the Beijing final with a double 6-2

Jannik Sinner returns to winning a tournament after losing the final at the US Open.

The world number 2 wins the ATP 500 in Beijing , beating the American Learner Tien 6-2 6-2 in the final.

"I'm happy today," Sinner said, "now let's see how the season finale goes."

From the stage at the awards ceremony, the world number 2 thanked the Chinese public ("I feel at home here, it's a special place for me"), the staff and the Italians who "followed me" on TV this morning .

Now Sinner is expected at the ATP 1000 in Shanghai.
