The World Press Photo , a photojournalism exhibition, arrives in Sardinia, at the Sinnai Museum and Archive (MuA) from November 2nd. In collaboration with Asce (the Sardinian association against marginalization) a selection of photos from the prestigious contest will be exhibited for almost the entire month of November.

“It is an honor for the Museo Civico di Sinnai – emphasizes Isabella Atzeni , director of the MuA – to host the World Press Photo, one of the most prestigious photography exhibitions in the world. This exhibition not only celebrates the excellence of photography, but offers us a powerful and authentic look at global, cultural and historical events that would otherwise remain unknown. Through these images – explains Atzeni -, our museum is committed to promoting reflection and awareness on the social, cultural and environmental issues of our time, thus contributing to a deeper understanding of the world around us”.

All the details of the exhibition will be illustrated to the press on Thursday 31 October , at 11 am, at Palazzo Regio : with the director Atzeni , the curator Alba Noguera , the mayor of Sinnai, Maria Barbara Pusceddu , the municipal councillor for Culture, Cristiano Spina , the person responsible for the management of the MuA, Valerio Deidda, Benigno Moi of Asce will be present.
