Silvio Berlusconi's mural reappears in Milan . This morning in the Isola district in via Volturno 34 the image of the Knight reappeared in a new version of the pop work by contemporary artist aleXsandro Palombo which had been removed last week after being vandalised, all in less than 48 hours.

«Silvio Berlusconi too a victim of cancel culture? They canceled it at the speed of light, but with the same speed that has always distinguished it, it came back more determined than before to deliver a new message to us» declared aleXsandro Palombo.

After the removal of the first mural Palombo is back in action with a new work in which Berlusconi is always represented with an elegant blue suit accompanied by his ever-present polka-dot tie, in one hand the glue-soaked brush with which he affixed the toponymic plaque which shows the indication of the place "Via Silvio BERLUSCONI 1936-2023" and with the other hand he makes the gesture of the horns , on the ground near his feet the bucket with glue and the writing Self-Made Man.

The first work with Silvio Berlusconi appeared last week in front of the building where CavaIiere grew up together with his mother Rosa, his father Luigi, his sister Maria Antonietta and his brother Paolo, in the Isola district, once a working-class place and headquarters of the historic Communist Party Milanese, and today a fashionable area with its luxury skyscrapers such as the Bosco Verticale and the headquarters of the banks, a symbol of Milan's financial capitalism.

A few hours after its appearance, Berlusconi's work had attracted the curiosity of the people of the neighborhood and of many citizens who had traveled to the place from all over the city to take pictures and selfies. In the following hours, the mural was vandalized with offensive and abusive writing promptly canceled by the residents but shortly after it was completely removed and the wall painted gray.

In recent days, Forza Italia, through a note from its press office, had expressed indignation at what happened, considering the removal of aleXsandro Palombo's work indecorous.
