The Maria Carta Award had a special edition (number 22) to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the birth of the eclectic artist and the 30th anniversary of her death .
"But if after 30 years we are here to remember her, it means that she has left a valuable legacy and Sardinia today has an Elena Ledda and a Daniela Pes who are important artists," said Tosca, in collecting the coveted award. Tosca paid homage to the island with an intense interpretation of "No potho reposare".
It was a truly high-level evening, not only in terms of quality, but also in terms of the ability of many of the artists to be testimonials for Sardinia, as was evident to viewers who followed the live broadcast on Videolina and listeners who tuned in to Radiolina.
Daniela Pes' performance was truly praiseworthy. Before singing, she read some of Maria Carta's words, praising her courage.
