The regional councilor for Industry, Anita Pili, today visited the Sider Alloys plants in Portovesme. The intention was to personally verify the restart of the production site together with the managing director Giuseppe Mannina and the director of general and legal affairs, Eros Brega.

«It was an important moment of confrontation – said Pili -. The aluminum pole in Sardinia is finally restarting and we can only be happy about this. The Pnrr funds will make it possible to complete the revamping phase of the plant, which is fundamental for the project to restart primary aluminum production. The Region will follow the company step by step along its path».

"Also due to the restart of the production of Sider Alloys - added the exponent of the Giunta Solinas - it is essential to define as soon as possible, together with the national government, the strategic energy framework of Sardinia".
