Shepherds and farmers once again on a war footing . The Sardinian countryside, caught in the grip of the crisis, are mobilizing to discuss the problems of the sectors: from the price of milk and other agri-food products during the year 2022/23 to how to stem the increase in production costs and materials raw materials, energy and fuels.

Tomorrow (Monday 10 October) the fruit and vegetable sectors will meet in Cagliari (Centro Congressi della Fiera, at 10.45 am) including winegrowers, cereal growers and beekeepers together with the Reclamation Consortia (one step away from stopping due to the too high costs of energy and the failure to disburse contributions by the Region) led by Coldiretti Sardegna, to take stock of the sector and decide together the strategies to be followed.

On Wednesday in Tramatza the spontaneous committees of shepherds meet (at 10 at the Hotel Anfora, km 103 of the SS 131) for the analysis of the main critical issues of the sector.

"This is the time to decide whether to give up and abandon everything - the shepherds write in the flyer convening the assembly - or if it is time to assert ourselves to carry on our sectors as our ancestors did, thus preserving our history millenary to ensure that even our children can continue to follow these activities with dignity ".
