Awards and recognition for the athletes of the ASD Se.Sa Boxing of Porto Torres. On Sunday, January 11th, the awards ceremony for the young boxers who distinguished themselves in 2025 took place at the Country Resort Congress in Arborea. The event was convened by the Regional Committee of the Italian Boxing Federation, where the best boxers from the island were honored. Porto Torres also took home medals, a region that traditionally excelled in a sport that has always seen many young talents emerge.

Three athletes from Asd SE.SA Boxing received awards for sporting merit, the culmination of a year of outstanding results last season. These included Arturo Maltoni and Enrico Falchi in the 46kg and 48kg weight classes, both winners of the Alberto Mura National Tournament and bronze medalists at their respective Italian Under-17 Championships. Federico Pistidda also received well-deserved recognition, having won a bronze medal in the 40kg weight class at the Italian Under-15 Championships in his first year of activity.

Great satisfaction for the ASD SE.SA Boxing, a Turritan sports club that is finding success and recognition on the national scene. "The happiness of 2026 is undermined by the concern of losing the current privately leased training facility, which is in the final year of its contract, which will not be renewed by the owners," explain the Se.Sa. club's executives. "In the meantime, the board is seeking viable alternatives to continue the sporting and educational journey of many young people from the Turritan community."
