Olbia has stopped. Training resumed this morning, postponed after the extra day of rest granted by coach Giancarlo Favarin following the away match in Cassino, but it didn't take place.

"The team doesn't feel like continuing, so we've decided to pull the plug," explains the Whites' coach, who already sent a strong message to the owners on Sunday, in the post-match of the 11th matchday of the Serie D championship, guilty of having failed to keep the promises made and reiterated over the last month, starting with the payment of outstanding wages.

Despite repeated signs of distress and the dedication shown by Favarin and his players, who despite the difficulties have continued to train, play, and score points—the 0-0 draw in Cassino is the fifth consecutive positive result for Ragatzu and his teammates—the club continues to be absent, and several players, lacking concrete answers, have requested the termination of their contracts with the Gallura club.

It remains to be seen how Olbia will fare in Sunday's derby against Monastir. And, more importantly, whether they will even get there.
