Paying outstanding wages and recruiting new players: these are the first moves by Prosoccer, the new owners of Olbia Calcio, as revealed by Ninni Corda this evening during the press conference presenting the new era of the Gallura club.

Alongside the Nuoro manager, who has been appointed technical director, are new coach Daniele Livieri, assistant coach Mario Isoni, Daniele Ragatzu, and Roberto Biancu, Olbia's captain and vice-captain. This marks Corda's return after a stint working for the old Swiss Pro ownership in 2024.

The former coach of (among others) Tempio, Como, and Foggia explained that the figures for the acquisition of Olbia Calcio by Prosoccer, "formed," Corda says, "by a group of entrepreneurs from Sardinia, Northern Italy, and Switzerland." The former minority shareholder of the Gallura club, Gian Renzo Bazzu, will lend a hand, but not Alessandro Marino, and Roberto Felleca will join them later. "These figures are confidential, but they are significant, as are the debts our professionals are already working on."

Olbia, currently fourth-to-last in Group G of Serie D, is aiming to stay up. This was confirmed by all those involved in today's press conference. Livieri, in his first role as head coach in the division, and Isoni, personally selected by Corda, join the team that also includes goalkeeping coach Antonio Carafa and athletic trainer Carlo Giua.
