Torres's first transfer move for the 2026/27 season is a departure. The club has sold Antonino Musso to Crotone on a permanent deal.

The Sicilian striker, born in 1999, was signed on a three-year contract last summer. He played the first half of the season with the Rossoblu, scoring five goals, but in January he asked to move closer to home, so the Sassari club loaned him out. Musso scored nine goals for Crotone. As Torres' statement explains: "The Calabrian club has exercised the rights to acquire his performances on a permanent basis."

Musso's sale gives Sassari management the money they need to start moving forward. Among their targets is a quality striker, given the end of Luciani's loan, who has returned to Ravenna.
