A busy August 15th for Torres, who trained ahead of the season opener: Livorno arrives at the "Vanni Sanna" stadium at 9 p.m. on Saturday for the first round of the Coppa Italia.

The match against the newly promoted Tuscan team, placed in the same group as the rossoblù, comes after four friendlies against opponents of a different level from Serie C: the 5-0 defeat against Venezia (recently relegated to Serie B), the 1-0 victory over Latte Dolce (Serie D), the 2-3 defeat against Budoni (newly promoted to Serie D) and the 2-0 victory over Alghero (recently relegated to Promozione).

Coach Pazienza will be without center forward Diakité, who is serving the suspension he received last year against Milan Futuro. Also expected to be out is playmaker-attacking midfielder Mastinu, who missed the last two friendlies with a minor injury.
