Torres announced that it has completed and filed "all the necessary documentation for registration for the 2026/2027 Lega Pro championship, Group B."
The Sassari-based club thanked "the local institutions and organizations that collaborated so willingly and promptly." Meanwhile, work has begun to restore the damaged turf at the Vanni Sanna stadium.
The deadline for submitting the documentation, the €350,000 surety, and the status of the sports facility was June 16th. Among the interesting facts: the first club to submit its application for the championship was Trento, which had already announced its participation on May 28th.
It's worth noting that Ternana has already been excluded due to bankruptcy. The Umbrian club, placed in the same group as the Rossoblu from Sassari, had also been among the club's biggest spenders on the transfer market.
