From the mockery of a stoppage-time defeat (Celesio's goal in the 92nd minute) to the joy of a last-gasp equalizer. The first penalty of the season earned Torres a 2-2 draw in the 95th minute against a tenacious Campobasso, who, not coincidentally, are in the playoff zone.

Sassari dominated the first half, with five clear chances. In the third minute, Mastinu exploded with a diagonal shot, and scored on the quarter-hour mark: Brentan's cross into the box was laid off by Zambataro, who fired powerfully. After the half-hour mark, Di Stefano had two chances, but they missed. In the 38th minute, Sala counterattacked on the right, passing to the center where Mastinu stopped and shot, but it went just wide. Just before halftime, Campobasso equalized when Pierno broke away down the wing and fed Martina in the six-yard box, who headed over Zaccagno.

The pace slowed in the second half, and the match became evenly balanced. Greco reshaped the attacking triangle, introducing Zecca on the right and Sala, who joined Mastinu as the second attacking midfielder. Little happened until injury time. In the 91st minute, Magnaghi suddenly fired a shot from a sharp angle, but Zaccagno got to it. From the corner, the ball flew out of the box, and Celesio unleashed a thunderous strike to the top corner: unstoppable. Torres didn't give up: first Zecca received the ball in the six-yard box, but the goalkeeper blocked it with his body, then on the final move from a corner, two men were down. The referee consulted the FVS and awarded a penalty for a foul on Antonelli, and Diakite converted.
