Torres' season comes to a close at the PalaSerradimigni. The Rossoblù also lost the second leg of the national playoff against Esseti Terni, who, after their resounding victory in Umbria, completed the job with an 89-66 victory, securing promotion to the Interregional Serie B.

The Sassari team attempted to greet their home crowd with a generous performance, managing to stay within touching distance of the Umbrians for much of the first half. At halftime, the gap was still small, but in the second half, Terni gradually took control thanks to their high shooting percentages and the greater experience of their squad.

Donkor and Marra led the way for the guests, while Enrico Casu stood out again for the rossoblù, scoring 21 points.
