Torres's relegation playout got off to a strong start, beating Bra 1-0 in Sestri Levante. The goal was scored by striker Di Stefano , his tenth goal of the season.

Next Saturday, the return match at the Vanni Sanna stadium will take place, with the Sassari team remaining in Serie C if they win, draw, or even lose by just one goal, as even with the same goal difference, their better regular-season standings are a factor.

Bra got off to a better start, coming forward with a low, angled shot from Baldini in the 5th minute (Zaccagno scored in two stages) and scoring in the 12th minute with Sinani (also on target against Torres) but the goal was disallowed for offside, as also confirmed by the VAR.

The Sassari team suddenly took the lead. In the 29th minute, Sala replaced Liviero on the left, who crossed from the edge of the box, and Di Stefano easily placed it in the center of the area. The Piedmontese team took the blow and struggled to recover. Torres doubled their lead in injury time with a fine triangle from Sorrentino and Di Stefano, but this too was offside, as the footage confirms.

In the second half, Greco's team could have immediately doubled their lead: Liviero crossed from the edge of the area and Zecca managed to hit it in front of goal, but a defender blocked his shot.

Bra created a few chances, but ultimately, the Rossoblu came closest to scoring again with Di Stefano in the 73rd minute, lobbing a ball from the three-quarter line that landed just above the crossbar. Zaccagno did well two minutes later, coming out to deny Campedelli in the six-yard box.
