As expected, Torres will also be without the significant support of their fans for Saturday's away match in Pescara. The relevant authorities have banned ticket sales to residents of Sassari and the surrounding province.
The effects of the disturbances and acts of vandalism committed by ultras in the Campobasso stadium therefore continue, leading to the identification of 60 people (who risk being banned from playing) and a fine of 400 euros for the Sassari club for damage to the sanitary facilities of the Molise stadium.
The ban on ticket sales to Sassari residents does not, of course, preclude fans from other Sardinian provinces or the Italian mainland from purchasing tickets, but as the match in Reggio Emilia demonstrated, the maximum number of supporters is around twenty, while for a match that will be a sort of play-off between the fourth-placed teams, it would have attracted at least a hundred fans, capable of giving the team a great boost.
