Torres' latest acquisition , centre-forward Nicola Nanni , 24, has arrived in Sassari , fresh from his national team's (San Marino) historic first win in an official match: 1-0 against Liechtenstein. "How did we celebrate? We all ate together, it's not like we're used to celebrating a victory." Nanni also answers honestly to the question about the fans' welcome: "Well, our fans are our families, we all know each other."
The call from the rossoblù club came outside the market, with Nanni released after his experience with Olbia who were relegated: "It was a long summer, but I was pleased that Torres wanted me , last year he impressed me especially in the Olbia derby: an experienced, solid team, with a serious and ambitious coach".
