Mattia Scaringi, one of four new signings, missed the Coppa Italia and didn't even make his league debut. The defender, who is currently playing for the club, fractured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot.

As Torres wrote in the official statement: "Scaringi has already begun his rehabilitation and will be available again for coach Greco at the end of August."

The new rossoblù will certainly miss the Coppa Italia match in La Spezia, scheduled for Saturday, August 15, as well as the first league match, also away, but in Livorno, scheduled for Sunday, August 23.
