Bari wins 1-0 against Sudtirol and flies to the Cadetteria playoff final . A goal by Benedetti decides in the second half, which annuls the success obtained by the Bolzano players in the first leg and allows the Apulians to continue dreaming of a return to Serie A.

At the San Nicola stadium the hosts - called to win by force - immediately try to play the game, looking for the right opportunity to pierce the defense built by Bisoli to defend the 1-0 of the first leg.

Mignani's men nearly took the lead in the 34th minute with Cheddira, who turns into the area and shoots with a right foot, but the ball ends up just wide. But it's in the extra-time of the first fraction that everything happens: first Vicari takes off from a corner forcing Poluzzi to perform a miracle; then Curto flies off alone on the counterattack and is spread by Ricci on the edge of the Apulian area: direct red and Bari in 10.

In the second half, even if with a man down, the Apulians didn't stop looking for the goal. After less than three minutes Poluzzi tames an insidious shot by Esposito with difficulty. But the home team's goal arrives just before the 70th minute: the initials Benedetti who receives the ball from the spot and with a first intention right foot strikes Poluzzi, causing San Nicola to explode.

In the final minutes, the Bolzano players try to make the extra man count and rush forward in search of an equaliser.

But the desperate siege bears no fruit. And at the triple whistle the Apulians celebrate, who are now waiting for the result of the super challenge between Cagliari and Parma.
