The 16-year-old boy from Senorbì who nine days ago was involved in a bad fall from a horse on private land in the Santa Mariedda area has woken up from a coma . The positive news was recorded yesterday morning, after days of apprehension for his family. And it was the father himself who announced the news on social media , with a post in which he thanks "all the people who were close to us, with a message and a prayer".
The boy, who had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, obviously remains hospitalized in the Brotzu Intensive Care Unit : a recovery path now opens for him.
On the afternoon of the accident, Saturday 20 April, the boy was in the countryside with a friend, the first to call for help: the two were taking the horse, which does not belong to any of their families, to a nearby piece of land. The animal was not saddled: the sixteen-year-old would have climbed onto its back for fun, triggering the reaction that led to the fall.
The details of the matter are being investigated by the Carabinieri of the Senorbì station.
