The literary season comes to life in Senorbì. The Domu Nosta archaeological museum is successfully carrying out the cultural event "Afternoon, readings and rereadings" promoted to rediscover the beauty of communicating with authors and listening to their stories. Tomorrow, Friday 24 May, at 6pm in the museum in via Scaledda 1, the presentation of the book by sociologist Paolo Deidda "L'uomo senza tempo", published by Armando Curcio Editore, will be held.

«Time that suddenly becomes precious and sonorous, the search for oneself, for one's ancestral roots and for that gift, deeply rooted in each one, which leads to understanding the meaning of life and facing, overcoming, the fear of its end: everything we find this in Deidda's novel which we have the honor of presenting as part of our literary review – says Elisabetta Frau, scientific director of the Senorbì museum –. It is a refined first work with elegant prose that allows the reader to breathe Sardinia with its scents, superb scenery, rituals, language, but above all its timeless magnetic charm."

"The Timeless Man" tells the story of a university professor who has emigrated to peninsular Italy for years and who feels forced by a serious illness to return to his home town, in the center of Sardinia, where, despite not having announced his arrival , finds his elderly parents and a dear friend waiting for him.

The literary event is promoted in collaboration with Marco Serra's Gramar stationery bookshop. Together with the author, the actress and musician Sara Balestrieri will participate and read some passages from the novel. Mayor Alessandro Pireddu and Culture Councilor Sonia Mascia will also speak.
