Deborah Mulas from Senorbì ranked 31st at the “Pizza without frontiers – Word Pizza Champion Game” world championship held in recent days in Rimini, Emilia Romagna.

A very respectable placing for the thirty-five year old pizza chef from Trexente, her first experience in an international championship of such great prestige that saw over five hundred participants compete. «It was an exciting challenge that allowed me to compete with some of the greatest pizza chefs in the world», says Mulas, who whetted the palates of the jurors by presenting the Emerald Isle pizza «which I dedicate to Ireland, a land in which I'm having an important professional experience." These are the ingredients: beef cheeks, mozzarella from the Cork area, sliced red and yellow beetroot, goat's cheese and Guinness sauce.

The young pizza chef from Senorbì is the daughter of an artist: her father Marco, her first teacher, was the first Italian to win the title of Master Pizzachef in a television talent show. «I am very proud of her result – says Marco Mulas –, this must be an incentive for her to move forward with passion and desire to improve». “Pizza Without Borders - World Pizza Champion Games”   is organized by Ristorazione Italiana Magazine within Beer&Food Attraction.
