Not just archaeology, the Senorbì museum opens its doors to art and in particular to painting. Today, Saturday 9 November, at 6 pm in the Domu Nosta (Madn) civic archaeological museum in via Scaledda 1, the inauguration of the personal exhibition “Percorsi aurei di pittura” by Dionigi Losengo, a famous concretist and illustrious exponent of the contemporary artistic panorama that includes among its notable figures also the master Giovanni Maesano, protagonist, in 2001, of an important exhibition held in the rooms of the museum of the town in the heart of Trexenta, will take place.
Concrete art, of which Losengo is considered a major representative, is an artistic movement born in the 1920s in opposition to abstract pictorial arts, later also developed in music and literature. The solo exhibition is curated by Marcella Serreli, former director of the Pinacoteca Nazionale in Cagliari. "The artist from Cagliari, fascinated by the interest in the geometry of composition, finds his greatest source of inspiration in the rigorous study of the golden section: everything and always originates from the number of the segment. From this assumption his compositional universe takes shape, in which opaque and shiny colors alternate, projected, with extreme rigor, on canvases of various sizes that impose themselves for great sobriety and undeniable refinement", explains Elisabetta Frau, scientific director of the Madn museum and the archaeological park of Senorbì.
The Losengo exhibition is set up after the success of Roberta Congiu's solo exhibition. At the end of the inauguration, a toast with Cantina Trexenta wines. It can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 to 13 and from 16 to 19.
