Five days of words, music, and identity. From May 25th to 29th, the Selegas Municipal Library will transform into a beating heart of culture with the second edition of "Fueddus." The festival, sponsored by the Pro Loco and the Municipality, aims to refocus attention on the power of storytelling and sharing. Following the success of the first edition, the initiative is preparing to rekindle the town with a rich program of events that intertwine literature and music, featuring prominent regional and national authors. Dialogues, musical readings, and moments of discussion will accompany the public on a journey designed to enhance the collective memory and identity of the area.
Among the most anticipated events is a special tribute to Tziu Sirviu Marrocu, a symbolic figure of the Selegas community. During the festival, the book dedicated to him will be presented, offering an opportunity to rediscover his poetic voice and cultural contribution. The grand finale will feature a special guest: Cristiano Godano, the soul and voice of Marlene Kuntz, who will bring his artistic signature, music and poetic depth, to Selegas, closing the festival with an event that promises to be unmissable. "Fueddus is much more than a cultural festival," emphasizes Mayor Alessio Piras. "It's a moment of community, an opportunity to rediscover who we are through words and stories. We want Selegas to increasingly become a cultural hub, capable of uniting tradition and modernity." The full program, including details on the daily events, will be revealed in the coming days. Meanwhile, Selegas is preparing to welcome a new season of culture, emotion, and participation.
