"The Roma camp on Route 387 must be closed immediately, and the families relocated elsewhere at no cost to the Municipality of Selargius."

A strong request is contained in the motion presented by minority councilor Mario Tuveri, who in the document also points the finger at those who previously decided to transform the former Pitz'e Pranu incinerator into a rest area: "A reckless decision that has only ghettoized the Roma."

The motion will be discussed in the Council in the coming days. "In the parking area, despite the Municipality's repeated maintenance interventions, which have required the use of significant public resources, the state of degradation in which users live is evident," Tuveri writes.
