This morning's Ardia on foot, led by first flag Mauro Pireddu and pandeleddas Nicola Manca and Tonio Ledda, also lived up to expectations. The leading trio conducted a perfect race, with sa pandela matzore descending with a nimble and confident pace from su Frontigheddu, first passing the arch at full speed and then arriving at the sanctuary with great confidence. The usual ritual consisted of laps around the sanctuary and sa muredda, punctuated by the daring descent from su "Forte" and the beautiful climb back up to the church.

At the end, beaming and smiling like the other two flags, Pireddu received well-deserved good wishes and compliments from the hundreds of Ardia participants, a veritable army of young and old, who couldn't help but be there to make their vow to Saint Constantine. "I'm happy because I've been waiting for this moment for a long time," said a satisfied Mauro Pireddu. "We all ran a great Ardia."

After the mass in the sanctuary, the return to the village allowed all participants to celebrate another long-awaited and beautiful moment of socialization with visits to the homes for “su cumbidu” in the homes of the three flags, of the mayor Salvatore Pes and of the parish priest: here they consumed sweets and drinks.

With the foot race, the 2025 Ardia has concluded with an entirely positive outcome, thanks to the Sedile organization, which once again ran flawlessly thanks to all the members who historically promote the town's great festival. Excellent work was done by the members and volunteers of the Santu Antinu association led by Angelo Porcu, the municipal administration, the civil defense team coordinated by Marco Cuscusa, the "fusileris" association led by Mario Melosu, and local police, law enforcement, Carabinieri, financial police, and forestry police, who discreetly ensured that everything ran smoothly.

The religious aspect of the celebration was perfectly managed by the parish priest, Don Maurizio Demartis, and the council of San Costantino, led by Prioress Sara Faedda, who oversaw every aspect of the sanctuary. The flags and knights also proved worthy of the Sedilese tradition.

It should be noted that, as per tradition, before and after the foot race, a good number of riders dismounted and remounted from Su Frontigheddu, effectively bidding a festive farewell to next year's edition, which is sure to provide even more excitement for the community devoted to the Holy Emperor.
