The investigation is for "incitement to suicide". This is the criminal hypothesis formulated by the deputy prosecutor Diana Lecca immediately after the discovery - last February 13 - of the body of Danilo Cancedda, the 40-year-old security guard found lifeless four months ago among the trees of Santa Gilla.

In these weeks of investigations, however, no element with criminal relevance has been found by the investigators.

But the family is certain that the security guard did not take his own life, so much so that his mother, Daniela, went on the show “Chi l'ha visto?” to shout her many doubts to the four winds. “He didn't commit suicide,” she repeated, “his feet were touching the ground.”
