Three important events for the Pinuccio Sciola Foundation.

It begins on Thursday 14 September in Padua , where a work by the artist from San Sperate will be unveiled (at 4pm) in the Sala del Romanino of the Eremitani Museum.
The program of the initiative includes, after the greetings of Andrea Colasio, councilor for culture of the municipality of Padua, the intervention of Francesca Veronese, director of the Civic Museums, of Elisabetta Gastaldi, curator of the Art Museum, of Maria Elena Tanda, president of the Sardinian cultural club “Eleonora d'Arborea” of Padua, and of Maria Sciola, daughter of the artist and general director of the Sciola Foundation.

Followed by the screening of Emilio Bellu's documentary "Born of stone", and the conclusions of Andrea Granitzio, artistic director of the musical programming of the Sciola Foundation, and of Giacomo Monica, Composer, with the performance "Profili Sonori". Then the concert entitled “Time Persistence” by Andrea Granitzio for string quartet and sound stones. Directed by Andrea Granitzio, it will see the participation of Maria Sciola, Giacomo Monica and the Anacrusa Ensemble Quartet.

The second appointment concerning the Foundation founded by Pinuccio Sciola's children will be at the Capalbio Film Festival , scheduled from 14 to 17 September «between cinema, art and environmental sustainability»: the jury of the important cultural event has decided to award the Prize " Green Ciak Capalbio Film Festival 2023” at the Sciola Foundation . The event, promoted and organized by the Capalbio Foundation with the support of the Municipality of Capalbio and with the patronage of the Tuscany Region, will be inaugurated by Margherita Buy , godmother of the festival. Chiara Sciola will collect the important award on the final evening of the Festival, at the end of a special event in which Emilio Bellu's documentary on the Sardinian artist will be screened: «We are proud to receive such a prestigious recognition of sensitivity and commitment of the Sciola Foundation on the issues of environmental and social sustainability - comments the President of the Foundation - This award also represents further confirmation of Pinuccio Sciola's ability to create connections between the various art forms ».

And environmental sustainability will also be discussed at the Italian stage of the Extreme E World Championship , the championship reserved for electric off-road cars scheduled for Capo Teulada on 16 and 17 September. In the stand reserved for Sardinian excellence, the competing champions will be able to admire a work by Pinuccio Sciola - which will be played at certain moments of the days - and learn about his art also through videos and other materials, in the presence of the vice president of the Tomaso Sciola Foundation . «The theme of environmental sustainability, which the Foundation shares and supports, is very present in this prestigious event – he underlines – and it is an honor to present Pinuccio Sciola's art, which has always been linked to nature and Sardinia, to an international audience».
