"With the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi we have activated a table to review all the phases in which children go to the workplace. It is a question of ensuring that they do not simply go to workplaces, but to places that have a sort of further certification, a kind of blue stamp ".

This was stated by the Minister of Labor, Andrea Orlando, on the sidelines of a conference, speaking of the death of Lorenzo Parelli , the 18-year-old who died at Burimec in Lauzacco (Udine) on his last day of school-work alternation.

"Compliance with safety regulations is not enough, it is about sending children to train in places where the standard is even higher than that required by law", added the exponent of the Draghi government.

It will not be necessary to establish "regulatory bodies" that "already exist", explained the minister, but it is rather a question of "identifying parameters that make it possible to distinguish simple compliance with the law from the fact that there are even higher standards and there it is possible carry out training ".
