Sassuolo midfielder Cristian Volpato reportedly tested positive for cocaine after being stopped twice by police in the same night in Sydney for speeding.

Several Australian media outlets and the BBC are reporting. According to New South Wales police, the 22-year-old was first stopped around 11 p.m. on the Anzac Bridge while traveling between 86 and 94 km/h on a stretch of road with a 60 km/h limit. He tested negative for alcohol. About two hours later, he was stopped again while traveling at 109 km/h.

On that occasion, the saliva test would have revealed a positive result for cocaine.
