The topic will be addressed from the point of view of criminal law but also from a sociological and psychological point of view. The conference "Violence against women: voices compared" will be held on Thursday at 4pm in the Aula Segni of the Department of Law of the University of Sassari in viale Mancini 5.

The event was organized by the Department of Law, as part of the Third Mission activities, by student representatives and by all the University student associations of the University: ELSA, ASP, APUS, ASE, ESN, EUREKA, SISM, AISO , ASA, RADIO-UNI, AGT, ARKIMASTRIA.

The speakers will be Luciana Goisis (associate professor of Criminal Law), Maria Antonietta Foddai (full professor of Philosophy of Law), Patrizia Patrizi (full professor of Legal Psychology), Maria Lucia Piga (associate professor of Sociology), Tommaso Gazzolo (associate professor of Philosophy of Law) and Patrizia Desole (president of the Prospettiva Donna Olbia association).

The director of the Department of Law, Professor Michele M. Comenale Pinto, will bring institutional greetings, while Enrico Baroffio, representative of the students of the Department of Law, will introduce and moderate the event.

At the end of the speeches, a debate will open, during which the public will be able to ask questions to the speakers.
