“Deviazioni” - a name that comes from the organizing Association of the same name - wants to bet on musical research and new projects. Five proposals, starting from June 19, in Viale Italia in Sassari, a street that until the 90s was the main street of the city's commerce, before the unfortunate choice of the one-way exit and the "diversion" of commerce to Predda Niedda with large-scale distribution.

The festival will be inaugurated by the “Travessu” tour of the accordionist Pierpaolo Vacca and Dj Cris (feat. Gavino Riva , bassist and multi-instrumentalist). On June 26th it will be the turn of the English Looking glass Alice , on July 9th the Canadians Distraction4ever , on July 17th the Alghero Gionta and on July 24th the Lilies on Mars .

The event is organized in collaboration with Desole Abbigliamento - a historic shop in the city to reinforce the idea that led “ Deviazioni ” to blossom right on Viale Italia - and the participation of the artistic collective Sabotage art who for the occasion will create ad hoc visual incursions.

“ Deviazioni ” therefore wants to go against the trend, give space to unreleased music and reach an ever wider audience: this is the aim of Andrea Mura (musician and manager of the Abetone music bar), Giuseppe Cappio (musician and artistic director of the Abetone and of important island festivals) Gippo Pocobelli (also a musician and manager of the Abetone music bar) and Francesco Melis, active with a Roman booking agency and “hook” for international artists.
