New appointment of the Mediterranean Festival: Friday at 8:30 pm the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Sassari hosts the organist Fabio Frigato.

The program includes pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach: the cantata Gott hat alles wohlgemacht BWV 35, the Allegro from the Sonata for Violin and Harpsichord BWV 1014 and the aria Komm mein Jesu und erquicke BWV 21. The program also includes two compositions by Dietrich Buxtehude: Prelude in G major BuxWV 162 and Prelude in E minor BuxWV 142.

The second part of the evening hosts, as usual, local artists or choirs: on this occasion it will be the turn of the Children's Voices of the Lolek Vocal Ensemble, directed by Barbara Agnello, founder of the choir. The program includes the Missa breve by Léo Delibes, Aria e Acqua by Maurizio Santoiemma, Luna by Michele Turnu, Ahi che questi occhi miei by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, The moon by Andy Beck and Kusimama by Jim Papoulis. The choir will be accompanied on the piano by Antonella Chironi.

The international review is curated by the Arte in Musica Association with the artistic direction of Ugo Spanu.
