Tomorrow from 2pm to 7.30pm, the public will be able to visit the new layout of the "Castoldi Pavilion" at the "Sanna" Museum in Sassari .

The pavilion restyling project responds to a modern concept of conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage and anticipates the exhibition transformation of the Sanna Museum, which will also affect the other museum environments. In particular, the so-called "Raccordo", dedicated to the prehistory of Sardinia, from the Paleolithic to the Copper Age, and the "Marcialis Pavilion", where the Nuragic, Phoenician-Punic and Roman sections will be rearranged.

With the new exhibition, from the first rooms, the visitor perceives the complexity of the history and culture of Sardinia, its plural identity and its artistic and commercial relations with the Mediterranean area.

In the new layout a new space dedicated to numismatic collections which contains a small conference room. Furthermore, the rooms dedicated to the Sanna, Bertolio, Reksten and Dessì collections have been completely renovated.
